Detective Sergeant Andrew Raven, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said detectives and members of the divisional tasking unit executed a warrant at the Laverock Road property at 7.15am.
He said stolen property was located at the address, including distinctive tools believed to be stolen during a break-in at a Rooneys Road plastering business a couple of weeks ago.
"There were also personal papers and cards recovered believed to be stolen in a theft from a vehicle," he said.
"Members also located amphetamines and other prescription drugs."
Detective Sergeant Raven said the man in his early 20s was arrested and currently assisting police with their inquiries.
"He'll be interviewed and is expected to be charged with property and drug offences," he said.
The man is already on a court-imposed community correction order for trafficking drug so is expected to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court later today for a bail/remand hearing.
