Lisa Arundell recommitted to the Bloods on Tuesday night, describing the decision as "a no-brainer".
"I am enjoying my time there and enjoying the club, so I thought 'why not'," she said.
Arundell took over in 2018 when the Bloods were coming off a wooden spoon season. They managed just two wins in her first season but used that campaign to build foundations for an extended run at success.
They sit fifth with six rounds to play in 2019 and are coming off a confidence-boosting win over second-placed North Warrnambool Eagles.
"Some people thought I was crazy taking on a team on the bottom of the ladder but in many ways that's attractive for a coach - you get to impart knowledge and hopefully make a difference," she said.

Arundell is bullish about the Bloods' long-term future.
"I would hope to continue the trajectory we're on at the moment," she said.
"It's been a big improvement on last year. We've brought experience in this year and next year the juniors who have come in will get a bit more court time.
"We've got great depth in our juniors and it's always been a policy of mine to look at what we've got within in the junior ranks and let them know there is a future for them."
Arundell joined Terang Mortlake having previously coached Old Collegians in the Warrnambool and District league.
She knew she would return to coaching ranks.
"I needed time off and I enjoyed my time off but I always thought I'd get into coaching when I missed it and that is what happened," Arundell said.
