Cobden police are appealing for information from the public after tyres worth $2700 were slashed in Lord Street late last week.

Senior Constable Paul Heywood said the damage was caused to a vehicle late last week, between Thursday evening and Sunday morning.
"The tyres of a motor vehicle that was parked in the street were slashed," he said.
"The value of the damage was $2700.
"We're requesting that anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area, or who has information about the offence, to contact the Cobden police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," he said.
