Warrnambool has landed the Gymnastics Victoria South West Regional Championships for the second year straight.

The two-day event will be held at Warrnambool Springers Gymnastics on September 28 and 29.
The championship, expected to attract more than 550 gymnasts and officials, is one of eight regional qualifiers for the Junior Victorian Championships held in November.
Warrnambool Springers' Brenda Jarry said it was a great opportunity to showcase the region.

"We are so proud to host such a fantastic event at our club. It is a great opportunity to celebrate the talented gymnasts from the south-west region as well as showing the gymnastics community what Warrnambool has to offer," she said.
Warrnambool City Council events coordinator Stephanie Hargreaves said council was proud to be supporting the event.
"We are committed to supporting events within the city such as the Gymnastics Victoria Regional Championships. This event will be a great opportunity to showcase a wonderful facility in Warrnambool Springers as well as provide an economic boost to the region for the weekend," she said.
It's the second time the event has been held in Warrnambool, with Warrnambool Springers hosting it in 2018.
