A vigorous south-westerly airstream will ease today as a high pressure system south of Western Australia moves slowly east.
The high will reach the Bight on Tuesday as a cold front develops over the Southern Ocean, with the front forecast to cross Victoria on Wednesday.
Another front is then expected to rapidly cross waters south of the Bight and reach south-western Victoria later on Thursday.
Showers and cool conditions are predicted for much of the next week.
In Warrnambool on Tuesday it will be cloudy with a top of 12, Wednesday showers 13, Thursday showers 14, Friday looks better a partly cloudy 14, Saturday is the pick of the days cloudy 16, but Sunday and Monday will be more showers with tops of about 13.
