The Hampden league's version of snakes and ladders returned for another edition this week with a number of teams shifting on the table.
Koroit kept in touch with the top two in both sports with the Saints netballers leveling on points with North Warrnambool Eagles, who were defeated by Terang Mortlake.
Portland also swapped places with Hamilton Kangaroos after securing its first win of the season over the team they replaced in ninth spot.
South Warrnambool drop to sixth with the Bloods jumping into the top five.
In the football Hamilton Kangaroos drew closer to the Roosters, who lost their fifth straight game on Saturday, while Port Fairy gains some breathing space in fourth spot.
Warrnambool and North Warrnambool Eagles kept each other at bay with victories over Camperdown and Terang Mortlake.
The margin between the two is just two points heading into round 13.
