The 21-year-old travels back an hour-and-a-half from Geelong numerous times a week to continue to play at a club her mum, Cathy, is a life member of.
"It's always good to come back and see family, the club has been supportive and there is a great bunch of girls around so I love coming back each week," Hall said.
The budding primary school teaching is completing her fourth and final year at Deakin University's Waurn Ponds Campus while juggling work at a child care centre in Torquay and netball commitments.
Hall, who plays as a wing defence in the Magpies' open grade side led by Brooke Richardson, said her mum influenced her in a number of ways when it comes to her netball.
"Obviously it's in my blood as I have always been around the club growing up," the former Magpie junior said.
"Mum has been my number one fan and biggest supporter and I look to her for guidance and we have a debrief after each game. She has been very influential.

"She has really helped with my fitness and has been real supportive of me on the court as well as off it in making changes to my lifestyle."
In Hall's two seasons playing mainly in the open grade side she has slotted into her wing defence role.
"I played more goal defence and goal keeper as a junior before going into senior grade where they had Emme Wright, Brooke Richardson and Chelsea Castles," she said. "Having more experienced players in there I made the transition into the mid-court and found a good spot there at wing defence.
"It was a bit of an uncomfortable position to start with as it was a slight difference to goal defence so I had to make a few adjustments.
"But I think my pressure down the court is something I have worked on quite a bit and I have had great support from Brooke."
