Forbid Me Not lines up against eight rivals in the 1200-metre race following wins at Warrnambool and a mid-week success at Sandown.
Wilde said the four-year-old mare had snuck her way through the grades and deserved a crack at Saturday level.
"I think Forbid Me Not is up to this class of mares race," he said. "She's got up the radar of most punters but we've always had a healthy respect of her. She really loves wet ground.
"I'm hoping for a really wet track. The wetter the better will suit us. She's been very honest from her limited amount of runs."

Wilde also saddles up Santelmo Fuego in a three-year race over 1400 metres on the nine event program.
"We're just been taking Santelmo Fuego along quietly," he said. "He won two races at Hamilton in May with a bit in hand.
"He hit the line well at Geelong last time but I don't think we'll see the best of him until he gets out to races over 1600 metres."
Bookmakers have rated Forbid Me Not a $7 chance in the early betting markets while Santelmo Fuego is a $14 hope.
Fellow Warrnambool trainers Mark O'Donnell, Daniel Bowman and Matthew Williams have runners at Caulfield.
Ciaron Maher, who trains in partnership with David Eustace, accepted with numerous starters at the meeting.
