South Rovers assistant coach Rhi Davis knows her Lions need to win the rest of their matches to make the Warrnambool and District league A grade finals.
The race is on between the sixth-placed Lions and the fifth-placed Timboon Demons to clinch fifth-spot.
The Lions, which are desperate to get back on the winner's list, face Kolora-Noorat at Noorat Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
"We've had a couple of tough losses in our last few games, we really need to a get a win on the board this week," Davis said.
South Rovers suffered heavy losses to Old Collegians and Dennington in the past month.
The Lions mentor said she was expecting a tough match with the Power.
"Kolora-Noorat have come a long way this season," she said.
The seventh-placed Power have challenged top sides this season including two narrow losses to Old Collegians.
South Rovers will go into the clash in good shape.
"We've finally got a full side for the second match in a row," Davis said.
The Lions assistant realises it's a rocky road ahead for her team.
"Both us and Timboon Demons have a really tough run home," she said.
The Lions face Kolora-Noorat, Nirranda, Merrivale, Timboon Demons and East Warrnambool in the remaining rounds.
The Demons have Old Collegians, Panmure, a bye, South Rovers and Nirranda.
Davis said her Lions needed to find their rhythm again after two straight losses.
"It's just about getting that belief back," she said.
Davis said her team was up and about when it played its style of netball.
"It's when we're happy playing netball, we turn up ready and back each other," she said.
"We play a fun style of netball."
Davis knows her team has a big round 17 clash with Timboon Demons coming up.
"It's really going to come down to that game," she said.
"That match against Timboon Demons is going to be a real defining one."
The Demons, which take on the Warriors on Saturday, will be bolstered by the return of centre Mellissa McKenzie, who missed last match.
