A high pressure system centred over South Australia extends a ridge across northern Victoria.
The high will move over inland New South Wales on Tuesday as a cold front moves across waters south of the Bight.
This front will reach western Victoria late Wednesday, crossing the rest of the state early Thursday, with a stronger front to follow during Friday.
For the next five days from Wednesday Warrnambool is expecting showers and top temperatures between 11 and 13 degrees.
