The tail end of a cold front will move across Bass Strait today while a high over the Bight extends a ridge over northern Victoria.
The high will strengthen on Wednesday as it moves eastwards and is expected to cross Tasmania on Thursday then remain over the southern Tasman Sea on Friday and Saturday.
A cold front will move over the Bight on Saturday before approaching western Victoria at night.
The next five days in Warrnambool should be cloudy but fine with tops between 14 and 17 degrees.
