Old Collegians co-coach Jess Toleman believes a tough encounter with Kolora-Noorat was ideal preparation for the Warriors' clash with Nirranda next week.

Old Collegians overcame a gallant Power 53-43 on Saturday at Noorat Recreation Reserve.
"Kolora today have definitely showed us all of our weak points," she said.
"Which will be great for training this week and I'm hoping the girls can bounce back a lot better next week."
"I think we'll definitely work on our possession and a bit more intensity to our style," she said.
"Not so much getting sucked into the opposition's style of play and just doing what we like to do.
"They didn't allow us to play the style of netball we like to play at all.
"Their defensive pressure from one end of the court to the other was astounding.
"I don't think I've actually seen my goalies shoot so bad, they (Kolora-Noorat) brought the pressure to them today."
Toleman said the Warriors like to play a composed style but the Power didn't let them do that.
"We played a very rushed style, something that we're not used to," she said.
"And I think that was just due to the amount of pressure they applied throughout the court."
Coach Kym Goonan knew the Power could take it up to the Warriors based on their previous encounter this season.
Kolora-Noorat also lost to Old Collegians by 10 goals in round two.
Like Toleman, Goonan believed the Power's defenders applied strong pressure during the match.
"I think we really made their goalies work hard today," she said.
"We seemed to be able to get a few turnovers and tips, we just weren't able to capitalise on a few of those."
Goonan said defence was important to her team.
"Being a defender, I probably focus on a lot on defensive pressure all down the court," she said.
But the Power mentor said her team could improve its attack.
"I just feel like sometimes we were crossing court a few too many times," she said.
Allansford coach Bridget Foster was pleased with her side's second win of the season.
The Cats were 52-39 winners over East Warrnambool.
"They seem to be gelling a lot better," Foster said of her team.
Nirranda asserted itself as the dominant force of the competition with a 19-goal win over Dennington.
Coach Steph Townsend said it was the Blues' best defensive effort this season.
"I'm pretty pleased actually, defensively it was the best game we have strung together," she said.
"Our defenders are playing really good netball at the moment."
The Blues' defence which includes Lisa Anders, Cloe Marr and Katie Ryan will meet Old Collegians' shooting duo Maggie Kline and Chelsea Quinn on Saturday.
In other matches, Merrivale overcame Panmure and Timboon Demons won comfortably against Russells Creek.
