Firefighters have declared the scene of a single-vehicle accident 'under control' in Casterton after a truck hit a power pole on Friday night.

Two CFA units remained on scene as of 8.40pm as Powercor arrived to begin the clean up.
"Traffic is still blocked and will be for a fair while," a CFA spokeswoman said just after 8.30pm.
Police said VicRoads had not yet attended to divert traffic.

Traffic was brought to a standstill in Casterton after a truck collided with a pole on Friday night.
Crews were called to the McPherson Street incident around 6.18pm.
The impact of the collision broke the power pole in half.
"The power pole was broken in half and traffic still is not yet under control," a CFA spokeswoman said at 7.40pm.
"Traffic is blocked in both directions on McPherson Street and police are on scene.
"It looks like the truck has hit the power pole and brought down the lines over the main road as a result.
"There's nil fire and nil sparking."
Traffic is blocked both ways on McPherson Street.
No-one was injured, according to an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman.
"We were not called out so we assume there were no injuries," she said.

Power lines were sent sparking after a truck hit them while driving through Casterton.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of McPherson, Henty and Murray Street at 6.40pm on Friday night to reports of power lines down and sparking.
An officer at Hamilton police station said the incident did not cause a blaze.
"A truck has hit some power lines on the way through and brought them down," the Hamilton member said.
"There's no fire as a result as far as we are aware."
