A ridge extends over western Victoria from a slow moving high centred over the Bight.
The high and ridge are expected to weaken on Thursday as an upper-level trough moves over western Victoria.
The upper-level trough will contract towards the Tasman Sea during Friday, ahead of another high pressure system, which will drift slowly over Victoria over the weekend.
The outlook for the next four days is cloudy but fine with tops 12 and 13 degrees.
