Paralympian, world champion tennis champion and disability advocate Dylan Alcott, chef and author Richard Cornish, retail business expert Martin Ginnane, chef and owner of Brae Dan Hunter and trailblazing business woman and AFLW stalwart Susan Alberti have all been confirmed to speak throughout the series.
Beginning in August, the evening monthly events certainly have something for everybody.
Warrnambool City Council economic development manager Shaun Miller was delighted to secure the five speakers for the series.
"While the Victorian Government's Small Business Festival will no longer run, we were very eager to expand on one of the festival's most popular aspects - high profile guest speakers - so the idea of the Great South Coast Speaker Series was born," he said.
"While they have taken different journeys and have different areas of expertise, all speakers in the series will offer guidance to help you achieve your goals, whatever they might be."
First off the rank is Martin Ginnane who will bring his retail knowledge to the Killara Centre in Camperdown on Tuesday, August 6.
The guru of industry trends, style and future direction has years of domestic and international experience in the retail industry. Now the principal of Ginnane & Associates - an advisor to provate investors, major retails and State and Local governments for economic growth - Mr Ginnane has worked in a number of high profile roles including the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and has worked tirelessly to strengthen Victoria's reputation as a retail capital.
Mr Ginnane previously visited Warrnambool traders to help navigate and prepare for the community's rapidly changing market.
Corangamite businesses attending the presentation are able to register their interest in a follow-up one-on-one session with Mr Ginnane at their premise.
Dylan Alcott will be speaking on Tuesday, October 8 at the Lighthouse Theatre as will Susan Alberti on Thursday, November 21.
