A ridge will extend across Victoria today from a high centred over the Bight.
The high and ridge are expected to weaken on Thursday as an upper-level trough moves over western Victoria.
The upper-level trough will contract towards the Tasman Sea during Friday.
Another high will cross waters south of the Bight during Friday and Saturday, leaving Victoria in a cold southerly airflow.
