Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of erratic driving in Warrnambool on Monday morning.

Warrnambool police First Constable Rebecca Wills said a number of concerned community members reported a red Nissan dual cab utility with an enclosed canopy driving dangerously in Flaxman Street about 7.20am.
"The vehicle was allegedly driving erratically and at high speeds," she said.
"At that time of the morning it is particularly concerning because there would have been people walking around.
"Police are investigating the incident and we are appealing for any witnesses to contact the station."
