Detective Sergeant Adam Forehan of Colac police said two offenders wearing masks and hoodies smashed a sliding glass door to SportsPower Colac on Murray Street around 2.30am on Friday and stole sports equipment, mostly clothing.
The offenders left the scene in a grey SUV police believed to be a Ford Territory.
"They've just piled all these clothes up that were on hangers and straight into the car and gone," Sergeant Forehan said.
"A list of the stolen items is being prepared and police are reviewing CCTV."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Colac police on 5230 0000 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. A confidential report can be made online at crimestoppersvic.com.au
