The winless Bombers will have star shooter Brooke Southwell coming back into the side after missing two weeks which will help boost the side again after captain Hannah Williams made a successful return last weekend.

Chatfield, who is in her first season of coaching the Bombers' top-grade side, said the full squad would help continue the side's steep improvement.

"We are starting to gel really well and we are working really well together," she said.

"We are only a young side of girls, apart from myself, and they're slowly finding their rhythm and going well and we are improving, which is boosting the confidence up.

"We have had a few away missing games and we eventually got them all together to try and get a win."

Chatfield said Southwell, who has shot 112 goals so far this season, provided a big target for the Bombers in the shooting circle.

The playing mentor mentioned her side was focusing on tight defence, set plays, pressure and working on its consistency across games at training in recent weeks in a bid to secure its first win of the season.

Timboon have secured five wins this season and sit just outside the top five.

"It will be the first time we are playing them this year and we don't know what to expect," Chatfield said of her side's opposition.

"We just need to play our own game and do the things that we have been doing at training and present that on Saturday."
