A high pressure system over north-east NSW extends a ridge across eastern Victoria as a cold front crosses the Bight.
This front will move across Victoria on Wednesday with a weaker front expected to cross Tasmania and southern Victoria later Thursday.
The next ridge of high pressure will extend across northern Victoria on Friday as yet another front passes through Bass Strait.
For the rest of the week it's going to get wet Wednesday and Thursday with tops around 14 and 15 degrees in Warrnambool, but Friday, Saturday and Sunday look dry with tops of about 14 degrees.
