Senior Constable Brendan Medley, of the Portland police highway patrol unit, said the single-vehicle accident happened about 11.30am Sunday.
He said the driver was heading south-east in a 100km/h zone when he failed to negotiate a sharp left-hand bend, lost control of his Hilux and rolled.
The driver suffered minor head and neck injuries while the vehicle was described as "unrepairable".
"The cause of the accident is still being investigated. It's quite possible the driver did not realise how sharp the bend was and he was travelling too quick," he said.
