It was a day to remember for some - with debutants singing the song and clubs scoring breakthrough victories.
But it was one to forget for others with injuries compounding defeats.
The competition also received a touch of class with former Fremantle and Gold Coast midfielder Michael Barlow making an appearance for North Warrnambool Eagles.
The Eagles remain on top of the ladder with seven wins and one loss.
At the other end of the table sits Cobden which slipped to the bottom following its loss to Terang Mortlake, which sung its song for the first time this season.
Cobden remains undefeated in netball with Warrnambool and Koroit among its biggest threats.
