The Southern Grampians Divisional Tasking Team arrested two men in possession of drugs and fireworks following an intercept in Hamilton on Friday night.
Officers intercepted the Holden Commodore on Portland Road about 10.20pm.
A search of the vehicle uncovered what is alleged to be a traffickable quantity of MDMA and a large amount of illegal fireworks.
A 27 year-old-male Portland man and a 21-year-old Hamilton man were arrested at the scene and interviewed.
Both men were later released and are expected to be charged on summons.
This arrest forms part of Operation Regal, a four day high visibility road policing operation over the Queen's birthday long weekend.

The state-wide operation statred on Friday and is focusing on impaired driving, increased traffic on rural roads, towing trailers and caravans, and trail bike riding in state forests and parks.
Enforcement activities will vary across the state with police focusing on traffic corridors that link metropolitan areas to popular holiday destinations including the high country (ski fields), Grampians and Lakes regions. Operation Regal will run until 11.59pm on Monday.
