Racing Victoria will decide on Tuesday if some races already scheduled at Ballarat and Warrnambool can be changed.
Ballarat is listed to run a maiden hurdle, a restricted hurdle plus a maiden steeplechase on its grass track but the remaining five races are on the synthetic track at the June 18 meeting.
Warrnambool Racing Club chief executive officer Peter Downs confirmed to The Standard there may be program changes.
"There are discussions under way about us getting the three jumps races," Downs said.
"We'll find out more on Tuesday. We've already got two high-weight flat races for the jumps jockeys on our program.
"I think it would be a great boost for our meeting if we get the three jumps races but we'll find out more early next week."
Nominations for Ballarat close on Wednesday, June 12 while Warrnambool's nominations close on Monday, June 17.
