Camperdown's Toby Mahony was picked to make his Vic Country debut at the AFL under 18 national championships, Koroit's Todd White (pictured above) and Portland's Harris Jennings prepared to represent Vic Country at under 19 level and Koroit's Talor Byrne was selected in the Victoria under 12 team.

It was also a disappointing week with a Warrnambool and District league player copping a 2.5 season ban for assaulting an umpire.
This behaviour will not and should not be tolerated on the football field.
But the region's leading umpire has also stressed the importance respect beyond the boundary too as numbers continue to dwindle.
A big weekend is on the cards for other sports with swimmers, hockey players, volleyballers and basketballers all representing the area.
