The 36th installment of the art show begins on Friday at the Koroit Theatre and goes through to Monday.
Koroit Lions Club member Blake Allen said entries were well up on last year.
"We will have 225 pieces of art on show across the weekend," Mr Allen said.
"That's a really good result, we are very happy with those numbers.
"We have artists from all over south-west Victoria submitting their work and the quality will be very high.
"There are a lot of return artists and we have picked up some new ones as well."
The art show is open from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday and 10am-3pm on Monday.
On Saturday, a light lunch and morning tea will be provided by Koroit and District Primary School.
Catering on the Sunday will be done by the Koroit Country Women's Association, whose members will serve up Devonshire tea.
