Tim Gainey's side recorded a shock 11-point loss to the previously winless La Trobe City Energy just one week after claiming the scalp of Western Port Steelers, then the top-ranked side in the Big V basketball men's division one league.
But the crushing 68-79 loss was compounded by a masterclass from former Seahawks import Aaron Harrison, who dominated a Warrnambool outfit that missed Josh Dean and Alex Gynes.
The shooting guard, released from Warrnambool's roster so the club could regain ex-player and fellow American Xavier Johnson-Blount, finished with 29 points, 16 rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Johnson-Blount top-scored for the Seahawks with 18 points to complement his eight rebounds and three steals, while Gainey scored 15 points and finished with six rebounds, two steals and two assists.
Oli Bidmade registered 15 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Simon O'Keefe scored 16 points and made 17 rebounds.
But the defeat leaves Warrnambool, now seventh, three wins adrift from fifth-placed Keysborough.
Meanwhile, the Warrnambool Mermaids suffered a 97-44 defeat to the McKinnon Cougars.
Abbey Sutherland led Warrnambool in the absence of Amy Wormald and finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Lily Killey registered nine points, four rebounds and two assists.
