Begood Toya Mother is trying to win his fifth consecutive race in a benchmark 84 race at Caulfield and Bowman is confident the four-year-old is up to the challenge.
"Begood Toya Mother is in great condition following his last-start Flemington victory," Bowman said.
"We've kept on lifting the bar and each time he's measured up. I would say he's tightened up from his Flemington win.
"He had nearly a month between wins at Sandown and Flemington. He's just a bit fitter for this start.
"It'll be his first run at Caulfield but I'm not concerned with the tight track.
"He's won at Echuca and Cranbourne and there're both tight. I think a race like the group one Rupert Clarke in the spring would be an ideal race for him but we'll have a better guide after the race on Saturday."
Begood Toya Mother has won five races from his nine starts and collected more then $123,000 in stake-money for his connections.
Begood Toya Mother is rated a short-priced odds-on favourite to win the 1400-metre race.
Fellow Warrnambool trainers Symon Wilde, Matthew Williams and Mark O'Donnell have runners on the program.
The powerful Ciaron Maher-David Eustace stable has runners at Caulfield and it also saddles up starters at Rosehill, Morphettville and at Doomben.
Etana lines up in the group one $500,000 Queensland Oaks.
