Gardening: Treloar Roses is hosting a pruning demonstration day for green thumbs needing a refresher at their nursery, 216 Princes Highway, Bolwarra, from 10.30am.
Crime prevention: Warrnambool police members will change screws on people's registration plates with non-removable ones at Warrnambool's Bunnings from 11am to 2pm. Also on display will be a CFA truck, SES truck and highway patrol vehicles. SES members will demonstrate the tools to cut up a car.
Footy: The big men will fly when Port Fairy hosts ladder-leader North Warrnambool Eagles at Gardens Oval with the senior Hampden football league match kicking off at 2pm. The Warrnambool and District league's match of the round is between Allansford at Nirranda from 2.20pm.
Netball: A thrilling encounter between Hampden league contenders Koroit and unbeaten Cobden is expected when the open-grade sides clash at Koroit's Victoria Park at 1.15pm. Timboon Demons host Merrivale in the Warrnambool and District league's A grade game of the round from 1.50pm.

Choir: The Merri Singers will delight with their "Travellin On" concert at Warrnambool's Uniting Church Hall, Koroit Street, at 2pm.
Movie night: Relay for Life is holding a movie fundraiser, watching the Elton John bio-pic Rocketman at Warrnambool's Capitol Cinema, Kepler Street, at 6.30pm.
Quiet time: Moment of Reflection, piano music performed by Anita Hoekstra in Warrnambool's Christ Church, Henna Street from 5pm-6pm.
Live Music: The Average Band will provide above average entertainment at Hotel Warrnambool from 3pm. Koroit Pub Singers will keep the vibes flowing at Mickey Bourke's Koroit Hotel starting at 4pm.
Monday
National Reconciliation Week closing ceremony will be held at Warrnambool's Archie Graham Centre with a Dadirri poem reading and other activities from 1.15pm to 2.30pm.
Hearing: The Australian Hearing Bus is offering free hearing checks around the south-west with stops at Woolworths in Camperdown on Monday, Woolworths in Portland on Tuesday, Fiddlers Green in Port Fairy on Wednesday, Gateway Plaza in Warrnambool on Thursday, and Northpoint Shopping Centre in Warrnambool on Friday.

Debut: Local author Maya Linnell will launch her new novel Wildflower Ridge 5:30pm at Warrnambool's Café Lava. Port Fairy author Jock Serong will host a Q&A session followed by author talk, book sales and signings. Bookings requested via Collins Booksellers or Eventbrite.
Market: Fresh produce from Merri Garden Market Gardens will be available at The Dart and Marlin, Timor Street Warrnambool, from 3pm-7pm. Produce from Childers Cove Cheese Company and Thank Cake is also available.
