The Roosters led from start to finish to claim a 16.13 (109) to 3.5 (23) victory, which moves them into third spot with a 5-1 record.
"I thought it was one of our more consistent performances to the date," Battistellio said of the 86-point win.
"I was pleased with our contested craft and to get six under 18s to play a game at once and still be able come away with the result was great.
"We try to keep the plan consistent from under 18s, to our first (reserves) and our two o'clock (seniors) game.
"Everyone that comes in plays their role and they understand it, which is important, and with that we have pressure for spots and everyone is wanting to perform."
Battistello's selection headaches are expected to worsen with a host of forced changes.
"We had some sore players managed this week and some who weren't available and possibly have another six to come back in this week," he said.
"Obviously with (the Greater Western Victoria) Rebels clicking back into gear next week some will go back to Ballarat.
"But we've played 16 different players over the last three weeks so we will just keep rotating them through."
MORE FOOTBALL:
Rebels Emmanuel Ajang, who was named as one of the best in his senior debut for the club, Marcus Herbert, Fraser Marris and Isaac Thomas are all expected to go out of the side as they return to NAB league duties.
Brad Miller (managed) and Timothy Brown (away) will highly likely return, while Heath Brennan and Tait Niddrie, who were both omitted from the side last Thursday, were named in the bets for the Roosters' reserves.
Winless Terang Mortlake now drop to the bottom of the ladder after Cobden's victory over Portland, who drew with North Warrnambool Eagles in round one.
Coach Michael Sargeant said his side's third quarter was what let it down and identified one key area the Bloods need to address to break their losing streak.
"Our pressure was very ordinary and below the standard expected in the Hampden league," he said.
"We will work on it but it shouldn't have to be coached, it should be in your game and at the end of the day it's a mindset thing.
"We will probably change the drills around a bit at training and we'll have a good think after reviewing the footage and what else we can do to help it."
Sargeant said the mood of the group had not shifted despite losing all six of its matches by over 60 points (68, 101, 67, 61, 75 and 86).
"We have just got start playing better plain and simple," he said.
"The moral is still there there because they are a resilient group and they're pretty cruisey blokes so moral is not something we'll have to work on."
