Eisteddfod: Warrnambool Eisteddfod kick off their 2019 season with the Aria competition. Singers will perform a range of pieces on Saturday afternoon, with heats for the Aria event on Saturday night. Six finalists will sing again at 1pm Sunday. Christ Church, Henna Street. Tickets at the door, entry price includes refreshments.
Community night: Purnim Hall will host a movie night with a screening of Sweet Country", directed by Warwick Thornton, starting Sam Neill and Bryan Brown. Kids will enjoy three animated 1960's era Superman cartoons prior to the main film. BYO bean bags, cushions and blankets. Free entry, Purnim Hall, Hopkins Highway, doors open 6pm.
Groovin': Kiwanis Club of Warrnambool Move to the Groove sounds of the Ghostriders, St Pius Hall, Morris Rd Warrnambool. 7.30pm to midnight.
