POLICE are investigating a robbery in Hamilton which left a victim 'shocked and in fear'.

The incident took place on Thursday between 7.30pm and 8pm, where the victim was approached by two males from behind while walking on Goldsmith Street.
One of the males made a demand for the victim's wallet. Police say the victim was shocked and in fear and immediately handed over his wallet.
Both offenders ran off onto Byron Street with the wallet.
The first male was described as around 1.8 metres tall with an average build and wearing a trucker hat, white hoodie and dark blue jeans at the time of the incident. He is believed to be between 20 to 30 years old.
The second male was described as 1.7m tall, also between 20 to 30 years old, wearing a "greenish" hoodie with a white/blue print.
