Nashville Sound in the Queens Cup is attempting to win his third consecutive race following impressive victories at Penola and Warrnambool.
MORE RACING:
Golden Halo lines up in the Proud Miss Stakes following an unlucky run a fortnight ago at Morphettville. Begood Toya Mother chases his fourth consecutive victory in a 1400-metre race at Flemington.
"I'm very happy with my three horses," the popular trainer said. "I would have to say Begood Toya Mother is my best chance. His form is very good.
"I just hope he gets a trouble free run, if he does he's going to be the one to beat. Nashville Sound faces his biggest test.
"I would have liked the track to be a bit softer. I think he's going to make a nice stayer if not in this campaign it will be in the next, while Golden Halo has a good chance. She's just needs the pace on to be a solid hope."
Bookies rate Begood Toya Mother the hot $1.70 favourite to win at Flemington. Nashville Sound is a $4.80 chance, while Golden Halo is a $13 hope in the early betting markets.
Bowman is not the only Warrnambool trainer to make the trip to Morphettville. Symon Wilde accepted with Ginny Ann, Nordic Symphony and Skyway Star. Instigator runs in the Queens Cup for Aaron Purcell.
