The Warrnambool and District league's second-ranked side dismantled Allansford last week, running out 72-44 winners.
Maggie Kline (47 goals) outscored the Gators herself, while Chelsea Quinn (21) was also potent as the Warriors shot with incredible accuracy, with the first missed opportunity not coming until the third quarter.
And while Old Collegians coach Meagan Forth was rapt with these individual performances, she said there was a team-first attitude at the club.
"I think for us it's been really important to have three dangerous goalies," she said.
"Maggie has been playing some amazing netball, but we're more focused on getting the four points.
"The big positive was building the margin at break and never dropping off the intensity.
"Our long-term vision is to play finals, so getting a big win is important as percentage will come into play later on."
Forth said the main challenge in defeating Russells Creek would come in the form of Sarah Forbes, who top-scored (29 goals) in her side's six-goal loss to Panmure last week.
"They've got some serious height in their goal ring," the Warriors mentor said.
"So we'll have to work hard at building pressure and figure out a way to combat that. We're not the fastest team around, but we can control our play and stay composed.
"You normally go into each round with an idea of who will win each game. But that hasn't happened this year, which is great for the league."
Old Collegians have a 5-1 record and a percentage of 127.11, the third highest in the league.
