But the third-year mentor is still wary of his side being too front heavy against an unknown opponent as the Bottle Greens look for three wins on the trot at the annual interleague fixture.
Brown, who has led the side to victories over South East and Bendigo football leagues in the past two seasons, knows he has a selection dilemma on his hands.
"It's exciting to have (Dan) Nicholson, (Sam) Cowling, Boof (Darren) Ewing, Sammy Dobson, (Jarrod) Korewha (up forward) who are some good players," he said. "Shannon Beks has been in great form and was best on ground last year.

But with the unpredictability of interleague football Brown knows the right mix between all areas of the ground is critical.

"I'm not going to stand here and be a stickler and want to be a defensive coach but you have to have an element of defence in your game.
"That's the greatest challenge in interleague football as everyone wants to show their individual flair but you don't want to lose sight of the fact that the opposition will have the ball at times."
Camperdown's Matt Field was ruled out of the Ballarat clash on Tuesday after Magpies co-coach Neville Swayn confirmed the midfielder had injured his hamstring in the club's loss to Port Fairy.
South Warrnambool's Liam Youl, who was on hand to watch training at Friendlies, was still waiting on scans to his face to determine if he will be available this Saturday.
