Winslow-raised Maher, who trains in partnership with David Eustace, had runners in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland.
Among his winners was Dubious in the $200,000 group two Champagne Classic over 1200 metres at Doomben.
Dubious, a $350,000 purchase at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale, is part-owned by Maher's mother Eileen.
The lightly-raced colt has won three of his six starts and might now tackle the group two BRC Sires Produce and the group one JJ Atkins at the rich Brisbane carnival.
"The win is a great result for the owners," Maher said.
"It's extra special because mum is in the ownership of Dubious. He's a bit of a duffer on wet tracks.
"We came up to Brisbane looking for good tracks for Dubious.
"He loves racing and he's tough but I've got a bit of a query about him running the 1600 metres of the Atkins.
"But I'm quietly confident he'll run well in the Sires Produce which is over 1400 metres.
"We'll give him a run in the Sires Produce before thinking about a start in the Atkins."
Dubious has won more then $1 million in stakemoney for his connections from his six starts.
The Maher-Eustace combination was successful with Bam's On Fire at Caulfield while the stable won with Monarch Court and Grand Bernini at Donald in the Mallee.
