In conjunction with art store Greenling, the business owners welcomed over 50 people into the space for a visit.
Owners Amy Creek and Jody Miller said they would be offering boutique designs with an arts vibe.
The business offers a creative approach to design, with a focus on the outcome, Ms Creek said.
"Because we run the business, if we want to spend longer on a job that's what we do," she said.
"We have the creative licence to push the designs a little bit further.
"It's all in the best interests of the clients."
They also hoped to raise the profile of Walter House, offices of the famed Warrnambool mid-century architects Tag Walter and Bruce Auty.
"There is a little mail plaque around the corner with 'Walter' on it," said Mr Miller.
"That is where we drew inspiration for the business name."
