Mr Downs calls out Bash Boy as the greatest mount he's seen go around and although he couldn't remember the name of the greatest roughie he saw, he does remember that started at $20 and got backed in big time.
Greatest jockey? Well, you can't go past Damien Oliver according to Mr Downs who reckons he is just class, all class.
And it's not like he'd have to say it, but for Mr Downs the greatest moment of the May Racing Carnival is always when the Grand Annual Steeplechase is run and won.
