The undefeated Bombers are sitting pretty on top of the ladder after three rounds of the Hampden league season, with an imposing percentage of 157.2 and only 110 goals scored against them.
After dominating Warrnambool, Cobden went on to defeat premiership aspirants North Warrnambool Eagles and Port Fairy.
And when the Bombers meet the Kangaroos, who Starr coached for one season in 2018, at Cobden Recreation Reserve, it will just be business as usual.
"It won't be a grudge match at all," Starr said.
"We'll go into it like any other game."
Starr said she would have very little valuable inside knowledge to use against Hamilton, now coached by Kelsey Lewis, given the personnel changes that have occurred since she left.
This generational shift has seen Madeline Casey, Beth Wilson and Sophie Robinson rise from the under 17 side, while Chloe Uebergang has stepped up from division one, and Aly Smead returned.
"They've made a fair few changes," Starr said.
"But we're very young as well, so I don't think age will impact the match.
"And at Cobden we're focused on fine-tuning our own game anyway."
The Bombers will go into the clash without former playing-coach and joint reigning Hampden league best and fairest winner Nadine McNamara, who is travelling overseas, with Starr opting against adding another player to the side.
