The Blues will enter the Hampden league round four contest brimming with confidence after recording their first win of the season on Saturday.
Coach Raewyn Poumako said the 49-41 victory over Camperdown at Reid Oval highlighted Warrnambool's strengths.
Attacking duo Amy Wormald and Danielle Keilar joined forces for the first time this season, combining well under the ring.
Their defence, led by Emma Cust and Jenna Graham, was also resolute while centre Sarah O'Keeffe was effective in the midcourt.
"I am really pleased. It's been a slow start for us because we didn't have our full complement of players until the season had started basically," Poumako said.
"It is a relief just to go 'OK, what we've done at training the last couple of weeks is starting to show off in our game now' and to be able to say 'phew, we've got a win under our belt'.
"Now we'll go from there and take each week as it comes.
"I think our defensive pressure was great all over the court.
"I think the pressure they (our players) put through the middle of the court was really good, especially on their centre passes. We got a lot of turnovers."
Poumako said the Blues' attacking end would develop as the season progressed but was already a threat.
"We've got a lot of height and agility. Amy hasn't played the first two games and to have Amy back on court is massive for us because she is so creative and brings other players into the game," she said.
"It's made a real difference. Dani is just steady, really clean and nice to watch."
Warrnambool, which led by five goals at quarter-time, 10 at half-time and 12 at the final change, had 10 players to pick from against Camperdown and gave each court time.
Poumako said it was a hard juggling act as coach but emphasised the importance of playing the next generation alongside established netballers.
"It will be good for our young ones to help with their development," she said.
"It is hard when you've got 10 players and 10 quality players.
"I think often there's a difference in standard but to have 10 quality players and the versatility we've got is great.
"The first week we had seven players and the second week we had seven players as well, this week we had 10 and next week we've got eight.
"We've got two away next week.
"Taylah Antonio and Sarah Smith are out, one's away and one is working."
