A troubled teen has been jailed after he bashed and robbed a young person at a Warrnambool playground and stole cars, scooters and credit cards in a night-long crime spree.

Liam O'Flaherty, 18, of Banyan Street, Warrnambool, pleaded guilty in Warrnambool Magistrates Court to more than 20 charges.
Magistrate Franz Holzer said the behaviour was concerning and the teenager had "trouble written all over him".
"My instinct says this court won't be seeing the last of you," he said.
O'Flaherty was sentenced to 120 days' jail with 81 days served in custody on remand. He was also placed on an 18-month community corrections order with conditions he undergo drug treatment and judicial monitoring.
On November 15 O'Flaherty and a co-accused sat next to the victim at the Albert Park playground after planning to rob him of his shoes.
They told the victim if he gave them their shoes they wouldn't hurt him. The victim pressed a button on his phone that sent a message to his mother.
He then dialed triple-0 and O'Flaherty grabbed the phone out of his hand. He punched the victim to the chest and head multiple times.
The phone was later found near the playground.
On December 22 he broke into The Jean Jail in Warrnambool's Koroit Street by smashing the front door with a rock. O'Flaherty entered with a different co-accused before stealing 20 watches from the counter and two scooters.
Then between 10pm on January 3 and 4am on January 4 he entered an Elliot Street property while the residents slept and stole a TV worth $1850, the victim's wallet and a $45,000 Toyota Hilux.
In that same time period O'Flaherty also stole a Holden Commodore station wagon from the Nullawarre General Store.
At 4.15am he drove the stolen vehicle to the Caltex service station on Raglan Parade where he used the credit card stolen from the Elliot Street address to purchase cigarettes.
He used that card again at 6.40am to purchase fuel at the Caltex service station in Hamilton. He later attempted to purchase $24 worth of food from Horsham's Hungry Jacks but the card declined and he left the store.
Police said the stolen Hilux and Commodore were later observed travelling at an extremely fast speed past Midfield Meats in Warrnambool. Police later found the Hilux burnt out and completely destroyed.
O'Flaherty was located by police on Warrnambool's Gillies Street on February 2. He resisted arrest and was subsequently capsicum sprayed.
In a police interview, O'Flaherty admitted the offending and said he was "cooked on ice".
