The Blues welcome back goalie and co-captain Amy Wormald and tall defender Jenna Graham for their match against Camperdown at Reid Oval on Saturday.
Wormald has not played a match for Warrnambool this season after injuring her ankle in a basketball game for the Mermaids in March.
Graham played in the Blues' opening round defeat to last season's grand finalist Cobden but missed the second loss to Terang Mortlake.
Co-captain Sarah O'Keeffe said the pair would bring added strength and depth to Raewyn Poumako's side.
"We have struggled without them," she said.
"Amy has good drive through the mid-court and she is always there to pass to from defence and we look out for her.
"Having her back will be handy and it gives us four options in attack with her and Danielle Keilor as our two talls alongside Taylor Antonio and Jess Thwaites.
"Jenna has got a bit of height about her her and will slot back in with Emma Cust and Kelsey Perry in defence."
O'Keeffe said Poumako was on top of the moon with the side's practice match on Anzac Day morning with the possible combinations she could install on court.
"Raeywyn was stoked because the last few years we have only had two defenders, two attackers and not much room for movement," the 27-year-old said.
"But this year we have heaps of girls in attack and defence who could play multiple roles across the court.
"We don't actually know where we all line up on Saturday as it can be in any sort of position from attack to defence."
O'Keeffe, who works as a real estate agent, said the start to season had been frustrating for the whole side.
"We have had our game plan there but it wasn't working as well because we didn't have the full team on court, which is frustrating," the centre said.
"We have also had poor starts in those two games but we focused on that at the practice match and making sure we are getting up and about quicker rather than second leaving it to the second quarter.
"We have had to look into how we approach our warm ups as we were a bit casual and even the night before making sure we get focused so that we are ready to go come Saturday."
O'Keeffe said emerging under 17s stars Matilda Fitzgerald, Ava Bishiop and Hayley Eldridge had also had opportunities to shine in the higher grades.
She said the experience would help continue their development.
