IT WAS a satisfying return to Hampden League action for a South Warrnambool onballer and celebrations all around for Koroit.
Jock Blair, 24, returned from a shoulder injury in the Roosters' victory against Hamilton Kangaroos after spending 18 months on the sidelines.
South coach Mat Battistello said he was rapt Blair made it through the game unscathed.
The Roosters' netballers were always victorious against the Kangaroos. Mandy Van Rooy's team bounced back strongly after an opening round defeat to Port Fairy.
Over at Victoria Park Koroit's netball and football senior sides raised their 2018 premiership flags before fighting their way to gritty victories against Camperdown.
Elsewhere Warrnambool thrashed Terang Mortlake in the football and Port Fairy got off the board against Portland.
The Bloods netballers secured the points over the Blues, the Seagulls added another victory to their season's tally and Cobden edged out North Warrnambool Eagles.
Next week South Warrnambool and Koroit are the only match taking place with their annual Good Friday game being played as a twilight at Friendly Societies Park.
