TERANG-born John Sadler has fond memories of his first home-town cup win and hopes he'll have another one on Sunday.

Sadler, who has 30 horses in work at his Caulfield stables, trained Luisillo to win the Terang Cup in 1980.
He saddles up Observational in the 2019 edition of the 2150-metre race.
"There's been a lot of water go under the bridge since I won the cup in 1980," he said.
"I'll never forget the win of Luisillo. He was raced by my parents in partnership with former jockey Stephen Burridge's parents.
"The Terang Cup was run on New Year's Day back in 1980.
"The cup and Peter Blank Sprint were the two feature races and I was lucky to have the both winners that year. Prince Percent won the Blank Sprint.
"The TAB used to bet only on the daily double at the meeting back in that era.
"We got a nice quid out of the double. It'll be great to get back to Terang to catch up with some old mates."
Observational carries the big impost of 59.5kgs in the feature race on the eight-event program but Sadler is confident the eight-year-old will run well in the $70,000 race.
"He's had a couple of runs back from a break," the respected horseman said.
"I'm expecting him to run well. He's raced against some talented gallopers during his career and I'm quietly confident he will be competitive in this race."
