POLICE have issued a stern warning after nabbing a P1 driver for travelling at 133km/h in a 100km/h zone.

Terang Sergeant Danny Brown said the driver was intercepted by police on the Hamilton Highway west of Purnim.
"It incurs a $524 fine, four demerit points and one month's loss of licence," Sergeant Brown said.
"Drivers must understand that speed is a major factor in serious injury and fatal collisions."
He urged people to think of the consequences of speeding.

"We would rather drivers call their place of employment and let the boss know you're running late rather than police knocking on your family's door and advising you're never coming home."
