A Geelong man who stole 80 litres of fuel from a Camperdown service station and threw a table at a wall during a police interview has been jailed for 14 days.

Danial Furner, 33, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty in Warrnambool Magistrates Court to theft and other offences.
Lawyer Morgan Adams said Furner was a former heroin addict and could have an acquired brain injury following periods of unconsciousness due to assaults and drug use.
He initially asked Magistrate Franz Holzer to release Furner on bail so he could undergo a psychiatric assessment.
But Mr Holzer said due to Furner's criminal history, he would struggle to receive bail and risked spending more time in custody on remand than he would ultimately be sentenced to.
"This is reasonably low level and unsophisticated offending," Mr Holzer said.
"But the trend is there and you now place yourself in greater peril of custody in the future."
On April 5, Furner attended the Caltex service station on Camperdown's Manifold Street.
He filled two 20-litre jerrycans with unleaded fuel and another two cans with diesel.
He then left the business without making an attempt to pay.
Furner was later intercepted by police on the Princes Highway.
Police said the registration plates attached to his car had been reported stolen in Albury between March 26 and 27.
A search of Furner's car revealed another set of plates that were reported stolen in Geelong on March 25.
Furner did not hold a Victorian licence. He was arrested and his vehicle was impounded.
During a police interview he threw a table against the wall of the interview room.
In other news, a Hawkesdale man who stole 20 litres of diesel from a Koroit petrol station has been fined $500.
Alexander Sherbak, 65, of Dawson Street, pleaded guilty to theft.
On November 9, he attended the MG Trading service station on Commercial Road about 9am.
While filling up his vehicle, Sherbak noticed a 20-litre jerrycan filled with diesel on the ground.
Police said the can had been filled up by the victim about 20 minutes earlier.
Sherbak kicked the can to see if it was full then picked it up and put it in his car.
He paid for his fuel, cleaned the windscreen of his vehicle and then drove away.
Sherbak was identified on CCTV footage. When interviewed by police he said he located the owner down the road and returned the fuel - a claim the victim said never happened.
Sherbak was ordered to pay $48 restitution.
