The Bombers will be without 10 of their best 21 when they face the Blues at Reid Oval in the Hampden league's opening round on Saturday.
Sam Uwland (hamstring), Jack Hutt (ankle) and Ryleigh McVilly (ankle) are expected to miss a week while Paul Pekin, Noah Mounsey, Charlie Darcy and Jake Evans are expected back after Easter.
Patrick Smith, Luke Pekin and Grady Rooke will face longer stints on the sidelines.
MORE FOOTY:
Courtney has selected teenagers Lachie Gass, Josh Worboys and Ben Berry, who are all at least six-foot-two, to make their senior debuts.
Ned Dalziel and Tom Lindquist have returned to the club and will also play.
"It's an opportunity for them to have a crack at senior footy," he said.
"I am happy with the 21 I am taking in. I know they will give their heart and soul for the team and play to the game plan.
"If they get out there and perform, they will keep their spots."
