Detective Senior Constable Stuart Sims, of the Colac police crime investigation unit, said an offender smashed a shop window to gain entry at 3am on Sunday morning.
About $300 cash and cigarettes valued at more than that were stolen.
"Police investigations are continue along specific lines of inquiry," Detective Senior Constable Sims said.
