It might sound a bit steep but it's all for a good cause with the residents aiming to pull together on the evening of April 17.
For about 30 years the Good Friday barbecue and auction has been one of the busiest days for the tight-knit community with their annual goods and services auction raising thousands of dollars.
Adam Bellman, from the Garvoc District Residents incorporated's committee and members, said everyone came together to ensure the night was a success.
"We're attempting to crack that $20,000 barrier this year. We fell about $100 short last year," he said.
"There's still an opportunity for people to donate items, goods or services," he said.
The family event will be held at the Garvoc Hall on Wednesday, April 17, starting with a barbecue from 6pm with the auction kicking off at 7.15pm.
