Bernice Clarke said the family had received an outpouring of donations following the March 13 fire that killed Yajkiehn Clarke and destroyed the family's Great Ocean Road home.
On Monday The Standard called out for a storage space to house donations while the family organised temporary accommodation.
The Warrnambool and District Baptist Church put their hand up, however Ms Clarke said the family had since received accommodation through Warrnambool's Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative.
"I would like to thank the church very much for their offer and also the community for all of their donations," she said.
"There are so many caring people out there and we would like to thank everybody for their support. We are appreciative but not surprised. We've had tragedy in the family in the past and people have always come out to support us."
Ms Clarke said hard donations were no longer being sought, but monetary donations could be made to a bank account set up for Yajkiehn's family, including father Brett and mother Sarah.
Donations can be made to:
B. Clarke
BSB: 803 073
Account Number: 1000 385 64

The cause of a fire is not believed to be suspicious. Ms Clarke said funeral arrangements would be made at a later date.
Permission was granted by the family to name and use the photograph of Yajkiehn Clarke.
